Yes, my last name looks more like a radio station’s call letters…K.V.A.M!! Actually, it is derived from a town in Norway and is pronounced Quam or Kwam (Yes, I am Norwegian—Uff Da!). After high school, I paid my dues for 5 years at Bemidji State University -and- graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree! Since then, (1995) I have been working “full-time” helping people buy and sell their real estate. Like so many others that live in this area, I decided to dig in my roots and stay. Hey, this is a truly gorgeous area that accommodates my craving to be in the great outdoors! I take my profession VERY seriously. When people come to me looking to buy or sell their home, land, farm, or lakeshore, I “march-forward” and get the job done. Having personally bought and sold several properties, I know how the financial and emotional “roller-coaster” feels! Taking the time to listen and get to genuinely know people -and- my vast knowledge of the area, makes me a “great fit” for this business. In my spare time you will find me bowhunting, fishing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, looking for shed antlers, building something in my shop, or puttering around with something outside……my T.V. doesn’t get used much!
