About Me

Here is a little bit about me:

Yes, my last name looks more like a radio station's call letters...K.V.A.M!  Actually, it is derived from a town in Norway and is pronounced Quam or Kwam (Yes, I am a Norweigian----Uff Da!).  Immediately after graduating from Bagley High School and Bemidji State University (graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree), I acquired my Real Estate license.  Since then (1995), I have been working "full-time" helping people buy and sell their real estate.  Over this period of time, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge dealing with several hundred successful sales and purchases. 

This is truly a "knock-out-gorgeous" area that I have called home all my life.  The beauty of the rolling woods, the smell of evergreen trees, the numerous lakes, the variety of outdoor activities in your backyard; all influenced my decision to stay in this rural area!  

I have personally purchased several properties, fixed them up, and sold them.  By personally experiencing this, I was able to learn "first hand" about the structural and mechanical workings of a home.  I am not professing to be a contractor but this knowledge has come in handy when building questions have come up.  In my spare time I like to spend time in the "Great Outdoors" hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, fourwheeling or playing "farmer" planting food plots for the deer -and- spending time with my family.

I am also active in the community welcoming new and expanding businesses in the area by participating as an Ambassador for the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce. See photos below.
